Adopt

View all of the friendly felines available for adoption at Alachua County Humane Society! Whether you are looking for a lap warmer to snuggle up and read a good book with or a playful, curious tiger to stalk feather toys, we can help you find the purr-fect companion.

All of our adoptable cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines appropriate for their age. Please call us to speak to an adoption counselor at 352.373.5855 for more information about our adoptable cats or stop by to visit us today!

Interested in natural pest control?
Ask us about our Barn Cat program! Occasionally Alachua County Humane Society is home to cats who prefer the great outdoors. Once acclimated, barn cats make wonderful mousers or companions for your barn or land. Barn cats have been spayed or neuter, vaccinated, and ear tipped. All of their adoption fees are waived. Call us today at 352.373.5855 for more information.

Adoptable Cats & Kittens

#ThrowbackThursday

Pharaoh the dog was adopted from us a little over a year ago, and his adopter reached out to us to let us know how happy they are together. They say that Pharaoh joins them on all kinds of adventures and goes bananas for bike rides! He looks so happy in his new home, don't you think? 🙂

If you are interested in making a pet as happy in a home as Pharaoh is, please come visit us! We are open for viewing and adoption every Thursday through Sunday from noon to 6pm. We hope to see you soon!

COMMUNITY PET IN NEED OF A LOVING HOME!!

Meet Niko! He is described as a mix - mostly Dachshund, Jack Russell and/or Rat Terrier. This 6 year old boy loves to sleep all day and be your shadow! He gets along great with other dogs and cats. Niko does have moderate separation anxiety and does not like to be left alone. His ideal home is one where he can be with a family member most of the day.
If you have room in your home and in your heart for Niko, please email: RehomeNiko@gmail.com
